Friday, I received the two 10ga. Terror chokes I ordered, a .720" and a .705". Based on 10GAGENUT's posts, I assumed that the .705" would likely be too tight a constriction to work well with the T's I use for giant Canadas, but might work for lead shot and foxes and coyotes. I had to make some load adjustments to see what worked the best, RSI wad loads or Precision Reloading wads. As it turned out, the Precision Reloading wads delivered the best patterns with my 1 5/16 oz. load of T's at about 1570 fps. I fired a couple of shots with that load at 50 yards with the .705" Terror, one of which drifted off the pattern paper slightly, but looked good enough to try the second shot. The second shot at 50 yards gave me a pattern of 50 T's, well distributed, for 74%, which is pretty good for 50 yards.

I also fired a couple of 2oz. buffered lead 2's loads at a nominal 1260 fps., which a friend had left over from when he had his SP10. They were chilled 2's, not the harder magnum 2's, so it was a big surprise when at 40 yards, the .720" Terror gave a well distributed pattern of 84% and the .705" Terror gave a well distributed pattern of 87%.

Jono12, on the Wildfowling Magazine UK site, was interested in some Terror choke patterns with Remington 1 5/8 oz. loads. I had some Rem. 1 5/8 oz. T's which a friend had given me, so I shot some of those, which have been previously posted using the .705" Terror choke. These are through the .720" Terror choke at 40 yards. The 1's and 2's are loaded with Precision Reloading shot to replace the T's which came in the factory loading.

I did not chronograph these shots, but previously the loads chronographed in the low 1200 fps. range
